“Let us show you cuddle-friendly andtear-free solutions and to stubborn head tilts and turns…”!”
Torticollis, which we describe as stubborn head tilts and turns, is a very common problem.
Parents, it is not your fault!
AND, you do not have to do painful stretches to solve it.
At Kid PT, our therapists treat babies with torticollis and plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) everyday.
With our gentle approach, you will see QUICK changes in your child’s ability to turn their head and keep it in the center, without you staying awake and turning their head all night long or doing uncomfortable stretches all day.
Treating torticollis at a young age requires much shorter intervention and can prevent it from impacting your child’s gross motor development.
So don’t delay, address it right away.
If your baby:
Has been newly diagnosed with torticollis
Has been in therapy for many months without significant progress
Prefers to look to one side
Is at risk for torticollis, but you’ve been told to wait and see, look up you tube videos, or given a handout for stretches to do at home
Call us for a free torticollis screening and learn how to help your child’s head preferences and toritcollis resolve gently.
Do you want to learn more about our gentle approach? It is call Total Motion Release (TMR- Tots) and using this approach our expert physical therapists will resolve your baby’s torticollis much quicker than the national average.
