Kira Farman

Kira Farman

(Speech Language Pathologist)

Kira Farman is a speech-language pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with children in clinic, school, and home settings. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University, where she also received certification in Early Intervention.

Kira has been recognized as a New Jersey Favorite Kids’ Doc for her dedication to children and families.

She is trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) for speech sound disorders and in the Sequential Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach for pediatric feeding. Kira follows a child-led approach that makes therapy fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs.

  • Early intervention and developmental language delays
  • Speech sound disorders, including articulation, phonological disorders, and apraxia of speech
  • Pediatric feeding disorders
  • Autism spectrum and other developmental disorders
  • Receptive/expressive language and communication, including AAC

Outside of work, Kira loves spending time with her husband and their three daughters, and brings her passion for family connection into the care she provides for children and their families.
