Pediatric Physical Therapist Job in Raritan, NJ – Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? We’re looking for a Per Diem Pediatric Physical Therapist in Raritan, NJ who is creative, collaborative, and excited to make a lasting impact—both in our clinic and in a local school district setting.

At Kid PT, we believe that every child deserves to move, play, learn, and thrive with confidence! We’re a multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy practice dedicated to empowering children—from infants to teens—who experience developmental delays, motor challenges, sensory processing differences, and disabilities.

Our compassionate team provides pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy, helping families build skills for greater independence and participation in daily life.

Compensation:

  • $55 – $80/hour*

*Base Pay dependent on multiple factors including but not exclusive: type of employee agreement (hourly vs contract); hourly vs per/patient, experience, ect.*

Education: postgraduate degree

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (New Jersey license or eligibility)
  • School certification or ability to obtain one
  • Interest or experience in pediatrics, neurodevelopment, or sensory-motor integration
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to family-centered care
  • New graduates welcome — mentorship and professional development provided

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to determine each child’s physical therapy needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting strength, coordination, motor skills, balance, and functional mobility
  • Provide hands-on, play-based interventions that support motor development and confidence in movement
  • Educate families and provide home strategies to reinforce progress outside the clinic
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers, and caregivers to ensure holistic support
  • Document progress, update goals, and adjust treatment plans as children grow and develop
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that keeps therapy fun and engaging for kids
